Wisdom Wednesday

Hebrews 7-25Continuing to behold the greatness and compassion of our God!

Hebrews 7:25, “Therefore he [Jesus] is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”

Every priest before Jesus was subject to death, breathed their last breath and was seen no more this side of heaven…each and every one. BUT then came Jesus, our High Priest, sent by the Father.

Satan tried to defeat Jesus but Colossians 2:13-15 tells us about his defeat. These verses display God’s great glory, grace, compassion for the world and the truth about “those who come to God through him”.
Read slowly and consider the great power and compassion of our God.

Colossians 2:13-15
“You were dead
because of your sins and
because your sinful nature was not yet cut away.
made you alive with Christ,
for He forgave all our sins.
He canceled the record of the charges against us
and took it away by nailing it to the cross.
In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities.
He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”

See the underlined verbs…GOD ACTIVE ON OUR BEHALF! In red, to indicate His precious blood! Nobody but Jesus! Praise His Name!

“But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him (Acts 2:24).

Romans 8:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

JESUS saves completely ALL who come to God in repentance,
placing their believe and trust in Him.
