I will never stop doing good

Jeremiah 32.41A

 Jeremiah 32:41 (ESV)
I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them
in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.

I am so very blessed by these verses. In strictest context, we know it speaks of God’s great plan and purpose for Israel. It also reveals God’s heart for  all who are His children. Galatians 3:29, “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

I am blessed that the Holy, Righteous, Awesome, Sovereign God rejoices to do good to those who belong to Christ, who embrace Jesus as their Lord and Savior, as their most valued treasure. 2 Chronicles 16:9 comes to my heart, “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

God is seeking those who delight to fear the Lord (Isaiah 11:3) and find their joy in Christ. In the above verses, we see God’s heart: “I will find joy doing good for them…with ALL My heart and ALL My soul.” God delights to do His children good!

Please note the word “ALL”…that is “ALL” God’s heart and “ALL” God’s soul! SHOUT NOW! AMEN! HALLELUJAH! It is impossible for it to get any better than God’s “ALL”!
It’s called abundant life, life to the full when we find our joy in Christ!

Psalm 37:4 (ESV)
“Delight yourself in the Lord,
and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

My, my, my what a wonderful God and Savior!
So I cast myself on God and hope in His steadfast love. Blessed is the Name of the Lord!

Psalm 147:10-11 (NLT)
“He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse
or in human might.

No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear Him,
those who put their hope in His unfailing love.”

Jeremiah 17.17b
