Exodus 3:14, “ God said to Moses, “I Am Who I Am.
This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you.’”
Self-Sufficient – God is complete within Himself-
33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?”
35 “Or who has given a gift to Him that he might be repaid?”
36 For from Him and through Him and to him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.
Psalm 86:8, “There is none like You among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like Yours.”
The Unchanging God
25 In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
26 They will perish, but You remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing You will change them
and they will be discarded.
27 But You remain the same,
and Your years will never end.
Psalm 90:2, “From everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.”
Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.“
1 You have searched me, Lord,
and You know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
You perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
You are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
You, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and You lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, You are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, You are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there Your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to You;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to You.
“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.”
Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Psalm 90:1-2, “Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”
Psalm 100:5, “For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
John 8:58, “ “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
Revelation 1:8, “ “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
