Speaking so others know Truth…

Exodus 4.31

Exodus 4
29 Moses and Aaron brought together all the elders of the Israelites, 30 and Aaron told them everything the Lord had said to Moses. He also performed the signs before the people, 31 and they believed. And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.

Remember Exodus 4:15-16, “You [Moses] shall speak to him [Aaron] and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.”

Moses and Aaron are back in Egypt. They have gathered all of the Israelite elders together and Aaron told them everything the Lord had said to Moses. Aaron performed signs before the people AND THEY BELIEVED.

“And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, THEY BOWED DOWN AND WORSHIPED.

This lets us know why the enemy is working so hard to silence the mouth of every true believer. Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings the results God intends for He is the one at work. When is the last time you took the time to share the Gospel? Just stopped in your tracks as prompted by the Spirit and shared with that hurting neighbor or friend God’s knowledge of their situation, His concern, and His heart and power to bring them out? When will we stop shaking our heads about the godless lives and allow God to use us to share His greater plan of redemption and sanctification? When will our own busy lives stop being so important to us that we become obedient to the assignment of impacting other lives for Christ?

If we don’t speak truth into the lives of others, who will?
Certainly not the enemy or the world who holds them captive!
Besides, God did not give the assignment to them, He gave to Jesus’ disciples!

  1. “When will our own busy lives stop being so important to us that we become obedient to the assignment of impacting other lives for Christ?”

We as a society are into ourselves too much. We are always “looking out for #1”. If we took that attitude and looked out for those who need to hear the Gospel (before it is too late) I really believe this world would be a much better place. I cannot think of a better way to help a person than to give them hope through Jesus.

    Blessings to you today!
