Who is the Lord…?

Who is the Lord-A

Exodus 5:1-2
Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”

Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.”

Absolutely amazing! After all these years, this question remains. Just like Pharaoh, so many want to be their own ‘g’od, serve a ‘g’od of their own creation, desire a ‘g’od that they can touch and feel, and simply deny the LORD’s existence.

Just as the question has not changed, the response had not changed. I Am the Lord and beside me there is no other.

Isaiah 43:“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord  “and my servant whom I have chosen,so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He.

Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
and apart from me there is no savior.
12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—
I, and not some foreign god among you.
You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God.
13     Yes, and from ancient daysI am He.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?”

Romans 14:11, “It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,

‘every knee will bow before me;
    every tongue will acknowledge God.’”
12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”

 Romans 14.11

God all by himself. The Son of the Living God who came to take away the sins of the world! Hallelujah! Yea and Amen! God has used you to bless my soul this evening! Thank you so much!!!!
