Wisdom Wednesday

2 Peter 3.9

Blessings today! It is Wisdom and Wednesday. As we have been reading and seeing Pharaoh’s hard heart which led to rebellion and the lack of repentance, I pray the following Scriptures and quotes would help us all to make Jesus and The Word our choice.

  1. Thoughts, words, actions, habits, character, destiny — as I have been examining my life as of late I see these very words play through my mind as they have been the very road map that was my past. However, they are the same places on a road map I am learning to follow that is God’s Word. Praise Him for His Word!

  2. These are excellent thoughts! Our true faith in Christ leads us to sincere works in His name and for His glory. If that is the way it works in one’s life, they are truly pleasing to the Lord…

      1. Our hearts and minds matter most to the Lord. Any other motivations for our professed faith fall short in His sight!

Preach the gospel and show His love with complete sincerity!!

Thank you for your reply and support…

      2. This verse comes to my mind and heart, ““Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23. Thanks for reading and adding to our conversation. Blessings upon you, your family and ministry! All things for God’s glory!

      3. Thank you so much for your reply! As I mentioned to another reader this morning…I once heard an actor who said she “believed in all paths which lead to God.” Of course that was the “PC” answer from a worldly viewpoint. But Jesus is the one and only path to God, (John 14:6).

May the Lord bless you and yours with rich blessings in all things, as He wills!
