Wisdom Wednesday

Psalm 33.1

Blessings today!
It is Wisdom Wednesday and my heart is rejoicing and singing to the Lord!

My husband and I were discussing the greatness and power of our God and Father! Things that just causes a person to bow in awe and wonderment when we pause, behold and ponder. Truths that make you go WOW…HALLELUJAH!

Psalm 33 is full of such truths. We often read the Bible like it is a novel when it should be read bit by bit, like we are eating at a fine restaurant and savoring every bite. I mean that is what God’s Word is, the bread of life and nourishment for the soul…but so much more nurturing and satisfying than any thing we can purchase in the world’s best restaurant. Psalm 107:9 declares, “for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” The Lord told the Israelites, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it (Psalm 81:10).”

So today, I pray that we will behold the glory of the Lord, bow in awe, reverance, and worship as we bite off little pieces of the divine meal that God himself prepared for us…bite, chew, and ponder…worship…giving thanks for the privilege of being the son or daughter of the Most High God!

For the most part, God has led me to use images to help us with our digestion. Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh upon every reader. In Jesus Name! Amen!
