Wisdom Wednesday

[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him
[that I may progressively become more deeply and
intimately acquainted with Him,
perceiving and
recognizing and
understanding the wonders of His Person
more strongly and more clearly],
and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing
from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers],
and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed
[in spirit into His likeness even] to His death,”
Philippians 3:10 AMPC

Blessings today! On yesterday, we looked at Job’s relationship with God. I pray that the following Scriptures and A.W. Tozer quotes will help us to do so. Please leave a comment if the Lord leads you to do so for His glory and the encouragement of others.

Relationship 2

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Relationship 4

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8

Relationship 5
Relationship 6

God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. Acts 17:27

Relationship 7
Relationship 8

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.’ 2 John 1:6

  1. These are great as always. One prayer I say nearly every day is that I want His will to increase in me, and my will to decrease…I want what He wants in all things. It’s an ongoing project…

Good post, I’m going to repost it on my site if that’s okay!

  2. #5 – “We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own sould, closer than our most secret thoughts.” – WOW! This gives me such comfort!
