God’s provision for sin

Romans 5.8

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father”
Galatians 1:3-4

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.  God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.” Romans 3:21-22

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding” Ephesians 1:7-8

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—” 1 Timothy 1:15a

“No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” John 10:18

“He himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

When anyone lives in Christ, the new creation has come. The old is gone! The new is here!  All this is from God. He brought us back to himself through Christ’s death on the cross. And He has given us the task of bringing others back to Him through Christ. God was bringing the world back to Himself through Christ. He did not hold people’s sins against them. God has trusted us with the message that people may be brought back to Him. So we are Christ’s official messengers. It is as if God were making His appeal through us. Here is what Christ wants us to beg you to do. Come back to God! Christ didn’t have any sin. But God made Him become sin for us. So we can be made right with God because of what Christ has done for us.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

    1. Blessings today! What a Great and Awesome God to not only give us His Word but break it down and teach us by His Spirit! I bless ya for your encouragement and thank you for prayers that the focus of this blog would always be God’s truth…pull me to the side and chat with me should self and flesh arise so we could seek God in repentance! May God ever bless and keep you, yours, and all you do for His Name and cause including lifting BHM in prayer and encouragement. Much love in Christ!

  3. Amen! “Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.”
    Romans 6:3‭-‬5 NIV
