Wisdom Wednesday

Empty tomb with three crosses on a hill side. Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn Him to death and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day He will be raised to life!” Matthew 20:17-19

Blessings today! It is Wisdom Wednesday! I pray that the following Scriptures and quotes will us to keep Jesus and His amazing love, grace, and mercy in our hearts and minds… and devote our lives to the praise of His glory! Please leave a comment if inspired by the Lord! Resurrection - 1Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:23-25Resurrection - 4As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ” Mark 16:5-7Resurrection - 5Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.  Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die—ever. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she told Him, “I believe You are the Messiah, the Son of God, who comes into the world.” John 11:25-27Resurrection - 2With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all…  Acts 4:33Resurrection - 6We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Romans 6:9
Resurrection - 8Jesus said to her, “Mary.”She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”). Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her. John 20:16-18Resurrection - 10“For as by a man came death, by a man has come the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:21-22Resurrection - 9“For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His.” Romans 6:5Resurrection - 7

  1. I enjoyed reading this post on my lunch hour. My favorite part was the quote from John Piper saying the Creator removed every obstacle through Jesus death and resurrection every obstacle between us and himself so we may find evrylasting joy
