The Power…

Colossians 1.16

What God has said…

Blessed is the one
    who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
    or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and who meditates on his law day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2

Ssssoooo today my meditation is centered around the awesome power of the Lord!

“For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16).”
The power to create.

“He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:17).”
 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word (Hebrews 1:3a).”
The power to sustain.

 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:16-17)
The power to govern.

What else God has said…

“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
    which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:3

“Cast your cares on the Lord
    and He will sustain you;
He will never let
    the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22

As for God, His way is perfect:
    The Lord’s Word is flawless;
   He shields all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30

Be still, my soul and know that He is God…continue to meditate on Him!
