Wisdom Wednesday

Proverbs 24.10

Blessings today! It’s Wisdom Wednesday and I am sharing a verse we studied in Bible Study recently, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” My heart just rejoices in this verse because in the midst of other verses, Solomon just speaks this verse to his son. No comparisons of wise and foolish, righteous and unrighteous, good and evil…just truth, a fact – “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Don’t dress it up…fainting is an indicator of small strength.

My heart rejoices because I read it as a personal invitation from God to not deny the fact of my small strength…recognize it, admit it…and to come to Him to get something done about it. There is no need to pretend strength in the times that we are fainting in this thing call life. Help is available…better said the Lord, strong and mighty is available. Come by His Word, come by prayer, come by His Spirit…not only is He available but He is willing! “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).”

SSSSSssssoooo today is all Scripture that will encourage us to look to God and find strength for the issues of life. He is the no failure God! Blessed be His Name!
