Wisdom Wednesday!

Philippians 3.20

Blessings today! It is Wisdom Wednesday and the grand celebration on yesterday gives opportunity for us to be reminded of our true and eternal citizenship in heaven! I am so thankful that this old world is not my home and…yes, the struggle is real and I praise God that it won’t be this ways always! I am holding on to the promise of 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5citizenship-5.jpgCitizenship 16

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4

Citizenship 8

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:19-20

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3:20-21

Citizenship 10

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. John 12:26

11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. Revelation 3:11-12

  1. Awesome message today BHM! I am thanking God for my new life everyday. Looking forward to the quote by Jonathan Edwards – To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here. “Bless the Lord oh my soul”.
