Blessings today! It’s Wisdom Wednesday and I am so blessed by today’s focus. It is taken from our post on yesterday and our Scripture above, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf (Hebrews 6:19-20a). So very refreshing to the soul in these turbulent times. This verse is like salve on a wound…in my mind and heart the verses and images below are therapeutic for the soul. So thankful for Jesus, my sure and steadfast anchor! Once again, I find myself singing “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” for in Him is my hope!
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you. Psalm1 39:11-12
For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Isaiah 43:2
For he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
