He is able to save

Continuing to behold the greatness and compassion of our God!

Blessings today! To God be all glory for it belongs to Him.
We have been busy preparing for our Christmas program…I pray this reblog will be a blessing to you!

Intercede = intervene on behalf of another
Hebrews 7:25, “
…because he [Jesus] always lives to intercede for them.”

How very comforting to know that Jesus is alive and lives to make intercession for those who come to God through him. The Lord desires that none will perish (2 Peter 3:9).

I am mindful as I write this blog of those who the enemy has deceived into believing that they have sinned too long, went to far, and God doesn’t love them. Take comfort in this verse: Jesus is alive and well…ready, able, willing, waiting for you to activate the intercession that took place on your behalf over 2,000 years ago at Calvary. Satan is a liar.  Believe truth instead of the lie: Romans 10:11, 13:  “For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10-11

Salvation

Once we are saved, Jesus is still interceding:
Romans 8:34, “Who then is the one who condemns? No one.
Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–
is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Romans 8-34

Our Loving Father has us covered on every side even when
we don’t know what to pray:

Rom 8-26

Sing unto the Lord for He is worthy of our worship!

  1. Happy day, Pat!

Yes, satan will do anything to make us believe his worthless lies. However, I will admit there are times I think about the things I had done in the past and straight away he is there to try to convince me it is a mark on my permeant record that cannot be erased. Another one of his lies being; Sure God IS able to forgive you, but does He really WANT to forgive you. A simple play on words can do so much to make one believe a lie.

    1. Blessings Liz…the enemy does his job, he is more faithful that we are so he is always lying…as you say, playing with words, trying to steal, kill, destroy, devour…it is our job to use the tool God has given us, His Word! Cast the lie down with the Word of God by the Spirit of God. Praise His Name, we are victors in Christ!
